You may have heard about Shellshock which is a serious bug affecting potentially milllions of computers around the world. The flaw has been found in a software component known as Bash, which is a part of many Linux operating systems as well as Apple’s Mac OS X. The Shellshock bug can be used to remotely take control of almost any system using Bash.
For once, anyone using Windows can relax. The bug affects web servers and PCs running Linux as well as Mac OS X. Most of our websites are hosted on shared Linux web servers and have already been patched. If you have a VPS, Hybrid Server & Dedicated Server then you will need to update your own system.
